| no fresh ideas lately (lazy! haha) so rehashed this dish from last year:
spiked up ny strip steak with my poorly rolled california roll haha; gai choy for veggies
sometimes, i cook vegetarian dishes too! stirred fried garlic choi sum; i love the shade of green in this shot

the steak tasted better than its appearance (for once haha), which was slathered in a reduced sauce composed of honey and garlic to give it that typical steak taste with a hint of worcestershire and lime, providing a lil` acidity to balance the natural fats and oils
clockwise from the top: still working on perfecting a pickled ginger flower, the classic spicy eggplant (i added some brown sugar personally), choi sum for greens, and bitter melon with pork and a trio of cherry tomatoes, halved for a simple garnish

| so i've decided to start sharing on xanga again haha... well b/c quite frankly, i miss receiving eprops, and i was once a total eprop whore. i write mainly on facebook these days, but i'll slowly begin to share my notes from there. and who knows? maybe i'll be a eprop whore once more :] --
it's not that i'm too picky with the opposite sex; that would be rather inaccurate. from an early age, i've conditioned myself into becoming adept at finding the good in something or someone, regardless whether if it/he/she is not quite the most ideal thing or person. i'll always remember my humble roots, my background, and the obstacles i had to overcome to get here (and still overcoming), hoping that i'll never become jaded and arrogant from being blinded by money and always seeing the good in people.
for now, i'm enjoying every moment of the single life and its freedom. i don't know why being single is always so stigmatized or whatever. i mean, it's not that i don't have options...i can't decide actually, so i'd rather not be impulsive to settle and commit to a bad decision. the m.o.b. (not money over bitches b/c i'll get into trouble for objectifying women so i coined the term "money over beauties" instead) lifestyle is pretty sweet when i just keep it real and not allow anything to distract me from reaching my goals. money can keep a guy content only for so long though...so we'll see how it'll play out.
